Happy New Year!

Look not mournfully into the past. It comes not back again. Wisely improve the present. It is thine. Go forth to meet the shadowy future, without fear, and with a manly heart.

i heart movies

Shh don't tell anyone but I'm completely addicted to a new Myspace app called "Movies". I've decided that I should quit my job immediately and move to Hollywood. With my head full of useless pop culture knowledge I could become an entertainment news reporter or a fact researcher for E! Talk Soup (so funny). I wonder if those jobs pay well or if people take them for the perks of meeting & attending posh events with celebrities... I should look into that.

Well if you are anything like me you should go online and start playing the Never Ending Quiz which looks like this:

Maybe one day after you read endless trashy magazines and watch enough Entertainment Weekly you will be able to beat my leader status. ;)

Rice tastes good!

So this post is already getting off topic but I came across a site this week called FreeRice.com and now I'm totally hooked. Basically you start playing by guessing the definition of SAT words. If you get it right, you get a harder word and they donate 20 grains of rice to the UN World Food Program.

Right now my "score" is up to 2460 grains, which will be distributed to hungry people everywhere. I love this idea to make a website which actually makes you learn new vocab and then contributes to a worthy cause through the use of banner ads. Here's what it looks like:

Everyone take a few minutes to go online and check it out! Love & hugs.
